Software Process Presentations
12 Dec 2013
Some time ago, I gave a couple of presentations on software process for a local university Computer Science department. The target audience both times was computer science students who had not had any experience working on projects with imposed processes.
The first presentation - Software Process in the Real World
- was delivered at a colloquium in April 2003. The team I was on at the time had just started using Agile Scrum, and the memory of going through a CMM review process was still fresh in my mind.
The second presentation - Agile Software Development
- was delivered at a colloquium in January 2010. By that time, I had several years of Agile Scrum experience. I quickly reviewed the processes discussed in the previous talk, but focused mainly on the components of Agile, and how the teams I had been on used it.
